The position is a safety officer within the police department. The task includes securing buildings and performing safety checks.

Major Responsibilities:

• The position's primary responsibility will be to clear and lock down the academic buildings.
• The position's secondary responsibilities include inspecting all AEDs and Emergency Phones throughout campus.

Other Qualifications:

• The Safety Officer must hold a valid operator's license and be a good driver. Must be able to walk long distances, stand for long periods, and have limited mechanical and computer abilities.
