Job Title: Sales Engineer – Analog Mixed-Signal &Photonics Semiconductors About the Role: We are looking for a technically savvy and customer-focused SalesEngineerto drive the adoption of our Analog Mixed-Signal andPhotonics semiconductor solutionswithin the Cloud Data Centerecosystem. This includes direct engagement with hyperscale cloud providersas well as their key suppliers in networking, compute, and storageinfrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Act asthe technical liaisonbetween our engineering teams andcustomers, translating complex semiconductor capabilities into customervalue. Identify and engage with Cloud Data Center operators, OEMs, and Tier 1 suppliersto understand their system-level requirements. Present and promote Analog Mixed-Signaland Photonic ICsolutions for applications such as high-speed interconnects, optical transceivers, clocking, power management, and signal integrity. Growing annual sales in the territory. Sell directly in specific assigned accounts in the region. Lead technical discussions, product demos, and design-in efforts from concept through production. Collaborate with internal product, applications, and marketing teams to align customer needs with product roadmaps. Support the sales cycle with technical documentation, evaluation boards, and reference designs. Coordinate with other Sales Managers relative to major and strategic accounts to meet overall account and corporate objectives. Attend industry events, customer meetings, and technical workshops to stay ahead of market trends and customer challenges. An AOP goal will be assigned to meet and exceed with specific accounts targeted. These accounts may be called on directly by the FSE or distributors. Develop new markets and customers, also support product lines in new product definitions and technical requirements from customers to development of new products and technologies. Publish and distribute customer contact and sales trip reports to management and product lines. Update quarterly forecasts, develop, and maintain opportunities for assigned territory. Participate in quarterly reviews with reps and distribution to ensure sales targets are met. Support Sales operations as required on Channel strategies, contracts, annual pricing agreements and large opportunities and quote approvals. The FSE will be expected to safely travel in assigned territory as allowed by local government and customer requirements. Preferred Qualifications: Experiencewith Silicon Photonics, Co-Packaged Optics, or optical modules. Understandingof industry standardssuch as IEEE 802.3, OIF, and PCIe. Familiarity with EDA tools, labinstrumentation, and signal integrity simulation. Qualifications and requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, semiconductors, photonics, or a related field. 5+yearsof experience in technical sales, field applicationsengineering, or design roles in the semiconductor industry. Strongknowledge of Analog Mixed-Signaland/or Photonic ICs,especially in data center, telecom, or high-speednetworkingapplications. Familiaritywith cloud infrastructure, optical networking, SerDes,modulators, drivers, and transimpedance amplifiers (TIAs). Proventrack record of working with hyperscalers, OEMs, or modulevendorsin the data center space. Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence bothtechnical and business stakeholders. Sales experience in territory assigned; direct and distribution sales experience preferred. Ability to work effectively and efficiently with diverse teams, customers, internal and external partners. Be able to thrive and succeed in a fast-paced, high intensity environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. Possess the ability to communicate clearly, accurately, and directly, both verbally and in writing to a cross functional audience. Be able to sell via phone, zoom meetings, and in person and close the opportunity and ask for the order. Be able to work independently; and be self- motivated. The Annual Base Salary Range for this position is $125,000 – $170,000. Additionally, this role qualifies for sales incentives. Actual salary offered to candidate will depend on several factors, including but not limited to, work location, relevant candidates’ experience, education, and specific knowledge, skills, and abilities.
