Summary

The Children's Institute at Jericho has an open position for a School Assistant. This is an important position to the school and is needed to ensure the well-being of all staff and students.

Duties

This position is multifaceted and important to the flow of the school.

• Responsible for creating a snack menu and grocery list for parents when it is their turn to purchase the items. Preparing snack each morning and care and cleanup of kitchen. Supervising students when they choose to have snack. 8am - 10:30am
• Floater to cover staff breaks for 4 staff 10:30am - 2:30pm
• Cover teacher's planning time 2:30pm - 3:30pm
• Substitute when needed

Requirements

• Complete the Fundamentals and VT Orientation training. Both are paid for by TCIAJ

If you have completed college course work you may have met the requirement for an Assistant

• Pass a Background Check
• Provide 3 employer references
• First Aid/CPR - will provide if not already obtained

Schedule :
Contracted yearly full time position: 8:00am - 3:30pm
