Careerscape is working with Fargo area schools that need School Counselors to support student academic, social, and emotional development. You'll provide counseling, coordinate services, and help students navigate challenges and plan for their futures.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling to students
• Support students with academic planning and course selection
• Help students with college and career exploration
• Coordinate interventions for at-risk students
• Consult with teachers and parents on student needs
• Conduct classroom lessons on social emotional topics
• Respond to crisis situations with appropriate support
• Maintain confidential student records
• Participate in IEP and 504 meetings as needed

Requirements

• Master degree in School Counseling or related field
• Valid North Dakota school counseling license
• 2-4 years of school counseling experience preferred
• Strong counseling and communication skills
• Knowledge of child and adolescent development
• Understanding of academic planning and college admissions
• Crisis intervention training and experience
• Collaborative approach with teachers and parents
• Passion for helping students succeed
