About the job:
- Excellent customer service is always your top priority.
- You observe, survey the area and provide reporting on activity at your assigned location.
- You provide rapid response in critical situations.
- You’re good with reading and writing detailed reports.
- You know when and how to enforce customer procedures, regulations and standards.
- Responsibilities:
- Conduct security related drills and exercises.
- Create lesson plans and other training materials.
- Develop multimedia visual aids and presentations.
- Create testing and evaluation processes.
- Identify and evaluate needs of the security force and plan training programs accordingly.
- Provide performance feedback.
- Conduct continuing education training.
- Performs other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the security force training program and day-to-day operations.
- Assess each guard for strengths and weaknesses. Reinforce strengths and correct weaknesses.
- Assist Project Manager with developing, implementing and monitoring all training programs.
- Help develop a plan that is maintainable that not only meets GardaWorld expectations but also the clients.
- Maintain records of training with all personnel to help with accountability and track trends.
- Organize learning and development events.
- Assist with setting up training events and opportunities. Mock medical, penetration testing, etc.,
- Identify Officers that are interested in furthering their career within security and help guide them in that direction as career development support.
- Assist with the employee onboarding process – including assessment of skill sets to ensure role assignment aligns (i.e., typing and writing for GSOC/Rover)
- Assist Project Manager with interviews, follow up with potential new hires on status during the hiring process.
- Assist Project Manager with evaluations on training program effectiveness and the value to the Officers.
- Assist with re-implementation of W2GW during the hiring process.
- Maintenance of post orders for all gates
- Assist Project Manager with evaluations of post orders to ensure they are current and effective.
- Work with new hires and ensure all training materials are completed and signed off. Assist with training to ensure compliance.
- Continuously perform follow up training to ensure that high standards are being maintained including OJT and continued training.
Your background:
- You have a high school education or equivalent (GED)
- You’re able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
- If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
- You have a state license if required.
- You have 1 year or security supervisor experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years’ experience managing unit/organizational training in a military/law enforcement/security environment.
- Demonstrated experience developing a training program of study to meet required standards.
- Experience in a leadership role
- Candidate must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder)
- Must have excellent computer skills, familiar with all Microsoft Office applications.
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Proven leadership skills.
- Must be organized, neat, detailed, conscientious, and thorough
