Our Jackson partner is looking for a Semi Truck Driver to add to their team!

1st shift: 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Pay Range: $22/hour

Temporary to Permanent position in Jackson, MI

PPE Required: Safety vest/steel-toed boots

Job Description for the Semi Truck Driver:

• Examine contents and compare with records, such as manifests, work tickets, or orders, to verify incoming or outgoing shipment accuracy.

• Record shipment data, such as trip mileage, trip hours, weight over axles, space availability, and damages and discrepancies, for reporting, and record-keeping purposes.

• Determine shipping procedures regarding DOT rules and regulations, weight over axles, etc.

• Confer and correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, and non-conformance to specifications.

• Require current CDL license.

• Air brake experience is necessary

• Fork Lift Truck proficiency to help with load/unloading in-house when necessary.

• Moving customer's parts to and from our offsite warehouse may also be required.

• Other Duties & Responsibilities May perform other duties as assigned.

• Keep the exterior of the truck clean by taking it to get washed

• Keep truck interior (both cab and trailer) clean, and free of debris, garbage, and spilled parts on the floor of the trailer.

• Apply oil absorbent to the cab floor if oily.

Requirements for the Semi Truck Driver:

• Three Years of related experience

• Skills Required: Air Brake Exp, CDL-A, HSD or GED

• Background Requirements: Clean, No Felonies

• Diploma/GED Required: Yes

• Certification Required: CDL-A
