What you'll do: We're looking for a Senior Devops Engineer based in Europe to enhance our infrastructure and support our development team. - Design, build, and maintain distributed cloud infrastructure and platform services with a collaborative approach with Software Engineers
- Work on scaling, automation, reliability and observability of services
- Troubleshoot production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack
- Identify security gaps proactively and design & implement effective preventative controls
- Participate in roadmap planning and prioritization
Minimum Requirements - Proven track record of building large scale, cloud based complex distributed systems; identifying shortcomings and optimization opportunities; and making data driven cost performance tradeoffs to influence design decisions
- Empathy, strong communication skills and a deep respect for the power of collaboration
- The ability to drive clear next steps when encountering ambiguous spaces without clear lines of ownership, aiming to enable developers to self-service as much as they can
- Experience in system administration and writing infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform) in a high-stakes production environment
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and initiatives
- Experience handling critical incidents for production systems
Preferred Qualifications - Software engineering experience
- Linux system administration knowledge
- Understanding of topics such as platform hardening, malware detection, and endpoint management through configuration as code
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for different audiences (leadership, users, stakeholders etc.)
- Uphold high standards for engineering and product quality and mentor other team members to do the same
