As a Senior Manager, Customer Insights and Analytics, you will be responsible for supporting the development and evolution of insights and data-driven decision-making across assigned businesses. This role will be responsible for driving both primary and secondary research to derive coordinated, advanced insights to inform the business decisions. The individual will have to actively bring the voice of customers into consideration and promote external orientation. The primary responsibilities of this role are to: Support Insights and Analytics goals and objectives that enable the achievement of BD long-term success. Partner with BUs and Functional teams (Marketing, R&D, Business Development) to build and deliver practical learning plans with a clear understanding of business issues. Provide foresight by anticipating how market growth drivers will influence future business strategies. Be responsible for the process of translating and communicating customer insights in the development of business decisions and strategies. Challenge the status quo by applying data and insights penetrating beneath the numbers to bring strategic focus to BD business platforms. Communicate objective, in-depth, and practical insights and recommendations to key business partners and collaborators via reports, compelling presentations, and ad-hoc meetings. Leverage multiple forms of reporting including storytelling, infographics, dashboards, and the like. Support maintenance of strategic vendor partnerships. Ensure continual improvement of processes and accountability of results. Maintain standard processes and innovative approaches. Skills Market Research design and execution. Analytics and interpretation. Strategic thought-leadership. Ability to communicate sophisticated data and insights derived from research. Insights generation and ability to connect insights to implications for strategy. Ability to successfully work with the Marketing team. Ability to balance multiple projects successfully. High-reaching and creative approach. Leadership through influence. Analysis and interpretation of data through a commercial lens. Relationship-building and emotional intelligence. Experience & Education Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred. 7+ years confirmed experience in strategic Insights and analytics roles. Experience with conducting primary and secondary market research. Experience in analytic methods such as, but not limited to, Volumetric Forecasting, MMA, TURF, Max-Diff, Choice-based methods. Research methodology experience with segmentation, pricing, messaging, A&Us, etc. Experience in leading Insights vendors. Preferred confirmed experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or OTC. Preferred global research experience.
