Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 10 years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 8 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required. ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES: As a Systems Network Engineer for Satellite Ground Systems, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team. We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences: Installation/maintenance of Windows and Linux patches and updates to include maintaining repositories Perl and PowerShell script development/maintenance/usage Maintenance of Network topology that utilize Windows Server DNS and Account Management, Cisco Firewalls and Switches, Synology NAS Experience with Government Nessus scans and able to resolve findings Written skills to include development and maintenance of documentation for network, system, operations, etc. Maintain/update local and shared Operating System (Windows and Linux) configurations including McAfee security services What sets you apart: Creative thinker with demonstrated success leading the software development life cycle Collaborative team player eager to provide technical leadership and position others for success Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with notable record of securing buy-in on concepts and ideas Experienced in the art of negotiation with ability to meet challenging customer requirements with win-win solutions Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others Our Commitment to You: An exciting career path with opportunities for continuous learning and development. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled. USD $170,382.00 - USD $189,018.00 /Yr.
