LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a company local to Horsham, PA. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Staff Accountant to join our finance team for a 9-month temporary engagement. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close processes, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This position requires strong analytical skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.


Job Title: Senior Staff Accountant
Location: Horsham, PA 19044
Salary: $30-$40/hr.
Employment Type: Temporary (9-month assignment)

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.

  • Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.

  • Analyze variances and provide detailed explanations for management reporting.

  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities as needed.

  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal control policies.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve accounting discrepancies and improve processes.

  • Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation to external auditors.

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all financial transactions.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or progress toward CPA preferred.

  • 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles.

  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP).

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
