LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a company local to Horsham, PA. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Staff Accountant to join our finance team for a 9-month temporary engagement. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close processes, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This position requires strong analytical skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Job Title: Senior Staff Accountant
Location: Horsham, PA 19044
Salary: $30-$40/hr.
Employment Type: Temporary (9-month assignment)
Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
Analyze variances and provide detailed explanations for management reporting.
Support budgeting and forecasting activities as needed.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal control policies.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve accounting discrepancies and improve processes.
Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation to external auditors.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for all financial transactions.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or progress toward CPA preferred.
3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP).
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
