Vessel is growing rapidly, with scores of projects in planning, and we're looking for an Senior Staff Accountant to join our accounting team. In this role, you will lead key financial processes and ensure accurate, timely reporting related to inventory, cost accounting, and plant operations. What You'll Do Oversee all manufacturing-related accounting, including inventory, standard costs, and COGS Manage month-end and year-end close activities specific to production and inventory Analyze manufacturing variances and partner with operations to investigate root causes and improve margin performance Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company policies Maintain and update standard costs; perform cost rollups and BOM analysis Prepare and present reports on manufacturing financial performance and KPIs Support audits by providing documentation and explanations related to manufacturing accounting Collaborate with Supply Chain and Ops to improve data flow, accuracy, and systems integration Assist in NetSuite implementation and system enhancements related to manufacturing modules Who You Are Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferred 10+ years of accounting experience, with at least 5 in a manufacturing or product-based environment Deep knowledge of cost accounting, inventory valuation, and variance analysis Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, etc.) Ability to work cross-functionally and explain financial concepts to non-finance teams Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple deadlines Comfortable in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment Benefits Bonus Eligible Health Plans (Medical, Dental, and Vision), including HSA/FSA options Life, AD&D, and Disability Insurance, plus Critical Illness and Accident Insurance Adoption Assistance, Caregiver Support, and Financial Assistance through Employee Support Programs Team-building events and activities, including social hours and celebrations Commuter Benefits $140,000 - $170,000 a year At Vessel, you'll be part of something bigger than a company-you'll be part of a movement.
