We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our client's team fully remote team , based in the Portland Metro area. This is a long-term contract position designed to support their operations finance team with advanced financial modeling, analysis, and reporting. The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of accounting expertise, FP& A experience, and proficiency in financial systems to drive meaningful insights and strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive financial analyses, including variance analysis, cash flow projections, and trial balance reviews.

• Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making processes.

• Enhance existing Anaplan models and create new ones to ensure accurate forecasting and reporting.

• Prepare impactful presentations and reports to communicate financial insights effectively.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and interpret financial data.

• Support the implementation and optimization of OneStream systems to streamline financial operations.

• Perform ad hoc financial analyses to address urgent business needs and provide actionable recommendations.

• Utilize data mining techniques to uncover trends and opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.

• Assist in the preparation of board-level presentations to communicate financial performance and strategic initiatives.

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies while maintaining data accuracy and integrity.

• Proven experience in financial analysis, modeling, and reporting within a corporate environment.

• Advanced proficiency in financial systems, including Anaplan (Level 1 certification preferred) and OneStream.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and FP& A processes, with the ability to build P& L statements from trial balances.

• Exceptional presentation skills.

• Ability to perform variance analysis and cash flow projections to support strategic decision-making.

• Proficiency in data mining techniques to extract and interpret meaningful insights from complex datasets.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and compliance.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
