Structural Welder
Manufacturing company looking for steel and aluminum structural welders. Ideal candidates will be reliable and ready to work.
Responsibilities include:
- Welding structural assemblies consisting of components structural shapes, steel pipe, and plate steel.
- Welders must be able to utilize hand tools and welding equipment to follow shop drawings to industries standards.
- Read Blueprints and interpret industry specifications.
- Properly weld components into assemblies using MIG
- Confirm assemblies are correct using various measuring tools.
- Must be open to helping and assisting in other assignments as needed that may not be welding.
Qualifications:
- AWS D1.1 certification
- Demonstrated ability to read and understand detailed drawings with weld symbols.
- MIG Welding
- Experience with Ironworker, plate roller, tube bender
- Ability to operate a forklift (a plus)
- Ability to operator an overhead crane (a plus)
- Must be able to start working immediately with no prior obligations for first 90 days of start date.
Location: North-East Houston (59 & 610)
1st shift: Must be able to work as early as 5 am
