This is a 12-week paid learning experience during which you'll be able to connect and network with other interns and leaders within the company. What It's Like This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in network hardware deployment and integration within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The intern will work closely with senior network engineers and other technology teams to support various network-related projects and tasks. This internship is an excellent opportunity for the intern to gain practical experience and develop their skills in network engineering. Successful candidates will have the chance to work on real-world projects and contribute to the success of T-Mobile's network operations. What You'll Do Assist in the deployment and integration of network infrastructure. Support the creation of routing changes required to implement network changes and support efforts to implement those changes. Learn and apply industry best practices for network security and performance. Key Responsibilities Participate in network upgrades and optimization projects. Document network configurations and changes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless network operations. What It Takes Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP). Familiarity with network hardware (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls) is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges Minimum Qualifications At least 18 years of age Legally authorized to work in the United States Must have graduated within the last 12-months, OR be actively enrolled in a Bachelors or Graduate degree program Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for Internships Employer does not sponsor work visas for this position. Note that this also applies to individuals who are students in F-1 status who desire sponsorship after they complete their education. Relocation assistance may be provided to program participants who reside more than 50 miles from the internship location. Intern wages range from $20/hour to $40/hour. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on experience/location. Never stop growing!
