Job Description

Shodair is looking to add a Teacher's Assistant to our amazing team of Educators! This position assists the Teacher in providing well-organized and smoothly functioning learning environment in accordance with the overall hospital mission and educational philosophy.

The ideal candidate is someone who:

• Has experience in an educational setting
• Enjoys working with children
• Is organized and can make quick decisions
• Is flexible and can cover the classroom or run a lesson for the teacher when needed
• Is an effective communicator- both written and verbally

Requirements

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE; CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE

• High School graduate or alternative
• Demonstrated proficiency of students diagnosed with mental illness.
• Requires Criminal Records Background Check.
