Job Title: Teradata Admin/DBA Location: Mount Laurel, NJ (Hybrid) Duration: Contract Job Details: Exp: 10+ Yrs Summary: Responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and securing Teradata database environment Database Maintenance: Conduct routine database upkeep, including monitoring, backups and recoveries Installs, configures and upgrades Teradata software and related products Implements and maintains database security. Responsible for creating Databases/Users/Tables/Views/Stored Procedures/Macros/Functions/Roles/Profiles etc., Access grants, Load support/assistance such as resolving the deadlock issues, creating the JI and SI, STATS collection. Assist Development Team Leads in the design and implementation of large, complex database solutions. Sets up and maintains documentation and standards. Good working knowledge of LINUX. Excellent SQL skills. Knowledge of Teradata Studio, Teradata View Point, Teradata BAR using DSA, TDWM (Teradata Workload Manager). Knowledge of the Teradata Utilities MultiLoad, FastLoad, Fastexport and BTEQ on both Linux and mainframe. Knowledge of Mainframe to Teradata connectivity (Extended Channel Servers).
