Fairchild Communication Systems, a technology systems integrator, is hiring a Sales Representative in Toledo, OH.
OPPORTUNITY:
As our Territory Sales Representative, you will drive revenue growth in a market that is ripe for significant development. You will build relationships and drive sales with electrical contractors and end users (primarily K-12 schools) in the Toledo, Ohio market. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact, offering tailored solutions in low voltage systems integration. Foster partnerships that lead to successful project execution and long-term growth that expand your income potential.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
· Develop new accounts and service existing accounts through disciplined prospecting and relationship building.
· Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities with electrical contractors, general contractors, estimators, engineers and end users.
· Develop strong relationships with decision-makers, project managers, and customer procurement teams.
· Maintain and grow existing accounts by delivering exceptional service, identifying upselling opportunities, and becoming a trusted advisor for clients.
· Deliver customized proposals and pricing to meet customer needs and project requirements.
· Develop a deep understanding of Fairchild’s products and solutions to effectively communicate value propositions to customers.
· Collaborate with the operations team and technicians to ensure solutions meet customers’ specifications.
· Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline management with the CRM system.
· Achieve and exceed sales quotas and prepare and deliver accurate sales forecasts and reports to leadership.
SUCCESS FACTORS:
· Proven experience in a B2B sales role or similar customer-facing role, preferably within low voltage systems or a related field (fire alarms, security, AV, structured cabling, PA systems, sound systems, classroom, etc.).
· Bachelor’s degree is preferred with emphasis in business, marketing, or engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in the field of sales or service of electronics equipment.
· Familiarity with electrical contractors and the construction process, including bidding and design-build projects.
· Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn complex systems.
· Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse decision makers.
· Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and a track record of meeting and/or exceeding sales goals.
· Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
· Knowledge of local building codes, compliance standards, and construction practices, preferred.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Fairchild Communications will reward your sales talents with a competitive compensation plan that includes a competitive base salary (based on experience) plus commission. First year OTE expected to be $100k-$115k+ with growth in subsequent years. You will enjoy a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, 401K, and paid vacation. Hybrid role with customer travel reimbursed.
