Jack Laurie Group is expanding, and we are actively seeking high-quality Tile Subcontractors who take pride in craftsmanship, professionalism, and consistent communication. If you are an experienced tile installer looking to partner with a respected and fast-growing commercial interiors company, we want to hear from you.
We complete a wide variety of commercial tile projects—schools, healthcare facilities, office buildings, industrial spaces, retail environments, government facilities, and more. We keep our subcontractors busy and aim to develop long-standing, mutually beneficial relationships.
We pay agreed-upon labor amounts per job, and all materials are provided.
Review and execute work orders according to project scope and specifications
Install commercial tile systems including ceramic, porcelain, mosaic, and specialty tiles
Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
Inspect work for precision, accuracy, and overall quality
Communicate effectively with project managers, site supervisors, and other trades
Follow all safety policies, procedures, and site requirements
Ensure all required documentation is completed accurately and submitted on time
Proven experience as a commercial tile installer or tile subcontractor
Strong knowledge of tile setting tools, equipment, leveling systems, and layout best practices
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks: lifting heavy tile boxes, kneeling, bending, climbing ladders, and standing for long periods
Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work
Reliable communication and strong interpersonal skills
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Liability insurance required ; worker’s comp strongly preferred
Must be willing to undergo and pass a criminal background check
