Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Transportation Safety Manager at Olympic Transportation Services, Inc. in Omaha, NE. The role involves overseeing and implementing safety protocols, conducting safety training programs, and ensuring compliance with transportation safety regulations. The optimal candidate will also share the responsibility of evaluating, hiring and on-boarding, potential and new drivers.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of transportation safety regulations and procedures
• Strong communication and training skills
• Ability to communicate and maintain driver relationships
• Attention to detail with natural curiosity leading to problem-solving abilities
• Experience in developing and implementing safety protocols
• Certification in transportation safety management is a plus, but not required
• Ability to identify potential safety hazards and recommend corrective actions
• Strong work ethic, willing to do what it takes to get the job done, correctly
• Collaborative mindset that fosters teamwork, trust, and positive relationships in an office setting
