Job Details:

• Work 3 twelve-hour shifts per week with alternating weekends
\n• Variable shift start times between 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM
\n• Department will attempt to maintain consistent start times each week
\n• Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends
\n• 24 hours of orientation required
\n• Care for patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
\n• Work in 33-bed emergency department with daily census of 16 patients
\n• Epic charting system experience preferred
\n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS (all must be AHA certified)
\n• California RN license required at time of submission
\n• Minimum 2 years of emergency department experience required
\n• Community hospital experience required
\n• Trauma Level II experience required
\n• Previous charge experience preferred
\n• Complete non-billable modules during orientation (average 1-5 hours)
\n• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
\n• Only one holiday time off request will be approved
\n• 50-mile travel requirement from permanent residence

This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive emergency department providing trauma and emergency care services to the community. The facility maintains Trauma Level II certification and stroke certification, offering specialized care for complex medical emergencies. The department features interdisciplinary support services including respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and unit secretary support to ensure comprehensive patient care delivery.
