Title: Conversational Designer
Duration: 6 month contract + potential extensions
Location: Hybrid – Miami, FL or NYC (3 days onsite/week)
USC or GC
Compensation:
$60/hr to $66/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Required Skills & Experience
• 7 or more years of experience in experience design, with a focus on conversational interfaces and channel (IVR, CHATBOT, SMS)
• Experience designing conversational interfaces for chatbots, voice assistants, messaging apps, or other conversational channels.
• Experience with Figma, Lucidchart, Sketch and/or related tools.
• Strong Technical understanding of API’s (How they work, how does the front end talk to the back end)
• A bachelor’s degree in design or related field of study.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) principles and techniques is a plus
• Experience working in an agile development environment is preferred.
Job Description
We are seeking a Sr. UX Designer to join our Conversational team where we are iteratively designing and developing best in class experiences for our customers. Responsible for crafting intuitive and engaging user experiences across chatbots, IVR applications, messaging apps, and other conversational interfaces. Will leverage expertise in user-centered design principles, natural language processing (NLP), and conversational design methodologies to simplify complex design programs and products, converting the experiences into seamless and engaging. What you’ll be doing… Generate multiple design solutions based on analysis. Conduct user research to understand user needs, preferences, and behaviors in conversational interactions. Stay up to date with emerging trends and best practices in conversational design, artificial intelligence, and natural language processing. Exhibit mastery of shared tools and software for design. Identify appropriate design problems and opportunities within a brief and recommend solutions.
