Job Description

Senior Contracts Administrator

We're looking for a Senior Contracts Administrator who thrives in a dynamic environment and is ready to take full ownership of the contract lifecycle-from cradle to grave. This is more than just compliance and documentation-it's about strategic collaboration and making meaningful contributions to mission-critical programs across multiple accounts. This role is a key part of our Business Operations team, contributing strategic insights and precise execution that support mission-critical programs across the company. We are a forward-thinking hybrid company that embraces flexibility and remote work. In this role, you'll enjoy the benefits of working remotely while also maintaining a regular weekly presence at our Chantilly, VA office as part of a collaborative, in-person team environment.

General Duties
  • Manage the full contract lifecycle (cradle-to-grave) for both prime and subcontractor-to-prime agreements, including CPFF, FFP, T&M, IDIQ, GWAC, BPA, SBIR, OTA agreements, and GSA Schedule contracts.
  • Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of documents including Nondisclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements, Subcontracts, contract modifications, cost proposals, cost narratives, and close-out documentation.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with our internal stakeholders and external customers.
  • Review, redline, and negotiate contract terms, conditions, and pricing from proposal through award, ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS, agency supplemental regulations, applicable laws, and company policies.
  • Complete all contract requirements, certifications and representation forms in accordance with solicitation requirements.
  • Actively contribute to proposal preparation, production, and delivery, including development of the contracts and pricing volumes, review of terms and conditions, and ensuring compliance with solicitation requirements (FAR/DFARS, agency-specific clauses, representations and certifications, etc.). Collaborate with proposal managers, pricing leads, and technical staff to align contractual language and pricing strategy with the overall proposal strategy.
  • Leverage strong negotiation skills and business acumen to align contract strategy with company goals-whether acting as a Prime or Subcontractor.
  • Provide contractual advice, risk identification, and interpretation of requirements to account managers, program managers, and senior leadership.
  • Ensure proper contract file creation, organization, and maintenance in internal systems and file structures.
  • Distribute contract documentation and coordinate with account and program managers to meet all contractual obligations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant contractual procedures, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Navigate and manage contracts with classified requirements, ensuring strict adherence to security protocols, handling of classified DD254s, and safeguarding Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).
  • Collaborate with the FSO and program managers to align contractual requirements with security postures for TS/SCI cleared programs.
  • Support classified proposal submissions, ensuring compliance with government security policies and contracting authority guidelines.
  • Coordinate with government customers on contractual elements tied to facility clearance levels, personnel clearances, and subcontractor eligibility for classified work.
  • Manage secure handling and storage of classified contract documentation per company and federal guidelines (e.g., NISPOM).
  • Support special projects and serve as backup to the team as needed.
  • Provide guidance or leadership to other team members.
Required Qualifications
  • A strong understanding of how contract function supports broader business goals and the ability to negotiate strategically.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Federal Government Contracting.
  • A bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Other degrees accepted with equivalent contract administration experience.
  • Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS, DCAA/DCMA regulations, and federal government procurement procedures.
  • Experience with non-traditional acquisition pathways such as TradeWinds, Platform One Marketplace Solutions, SBIR/STTR programs, or Commercial Solutions Openings (CSOs), with an understanding of how to structure flexible agreements and navigate accelerated procurement timelines.
  • Attention to detail, organizational excellence, and an ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to interface confidently with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, especially Word, Excel, and Teams.
  • Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance (active clearance preferred)
  • Demonstrated experience supporting classified programs or contracts requiring TS/SCI or higher-level clearances.
  • Familiarity with DD254s, NISPOM, and security compliance requirements for contractors supporting national security missions.
  • Proven ability to interface with government security officers, program security teams, and prime/subcontractors on sensitive or restricted programs.
  • Comfortable working in secure environments or other classified settings, with an understanding of contract restrictions tied to security levels.
  • Valued experience includes:
