Aerowerks Corporation of America is locating a new manufacturing facility in Cherokee County. Aerowerks specializes in the design and manufacture of material handling systems for the food industry. Potential employment opportunities exist for:

Assembly Electrician/Panel Builder

Job Duties:

  • Build electrical control panels and install switches, sensors, and AC motors
  • Run conduit, pull wires, and perform system energizing and testing
  • Install brackets, hangers, and junction boxes; maintain inventory of components and tools
  • Read and interpret schematics, circuit diagrams, and wiring layouts
  • Use diagnostic tools (multimeters, amp clamps) for troubleshooting
  • Work with VFDs and troubleshoot PLCs
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
  • Must be prepared to work in other areas and departments in the facility if asked to do so
  • Required to travel within the US for final installation of equipment at job sites as a condition of this position
Experience Required:
  • 2-3 years of electrical experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings
  • Proficiency in control panel assembly and electrical system installation
  • Ability to read technical diagrams and perform diagnostics using electrical tools
  • Hands-on experience with PLCs and VFDs a plus
  • Willingness to travel as required

Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM


Position: Full-time


Wage: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour


Experience: 2-3 years of electrical experience


Education: High school diploma or GED required; vocational or technical training preferred

Office Hours: 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
