We are currently seeking Armed Security Guards to join our growing team and uphold the safety standards our clients depend on.
Position Overview:
As an Armed Guard at DC Security Inc., you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment for clients, staff, and visitors. This role requires high attention to detail, sound judgment under pressure, and a strong understanding of safety procedures. Ideal candidates will be dependable, well-trained in firearms handling, and capable of enforcing security protocols with professionalism and discretion.
Key Responsibilities:
Patrol assigned areas on foot or in a vehicle to detect and deter criminal activity
Monitor surveillance systems and control access to buildings and restricted areas
Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents and prepare detailed reports
Interact with employees, visitors, and the public in a respectful and authoritative manner
Ensure compliance with company and site-specific procedures
Protect property and personnel by maintaining a visible and ready presence
Assist law enforcement when required
Maintain firearms proficiency and adhere to all use-of-force protocols
Requirements:
Current Armed Security Guard License (PAL)
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Prior experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military preferred
Strong observational and communication skills
Ability to remain calm and decisive in high-pressure situations
Must pass background check, drug screening, and firearms qualification test
Physical ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods
