Our growing specialty practice is seeking a motivated Clinical Medical Assistant to facilitate our day to day clinical operations.

LOCATION: Summit Foot and Ankle, 180 Old Loudon Rd. Latham, NY 12110

POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a Part-time/Full-time Medical Assistant or LPN to aid in patient care. This includes rooming patients, performing medical history intakes, taking vital signs, preparing the room, assisting with in-office procedures, instrument sterilization. Reviewing, Uploading and flagging patient lab or test results.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Interview patients to gather medical history and update medical records
  • Gather basic vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, height, weight, and pulse
  • Prepare treatment rooms and patients for exam
  • Sterilize instruments and set up in-office procedure trays
  • Manage medical supplies and materials and work with their operational leader to order necessary inventory
  • Take x-rays, Perform non-invasive vascular testing (training provided)
  • Perform administrative tasks and become cross-trained on front desk responsibilities to provide support when needed.
  • Other duties are to support the physician and team with patient care activities.

  • Basic knowledge of computers and office equipment

SCHEDULING

A typical schedule for this position is: Monday to Friday; 830am-430pm Part-Time or Full Time Position Available

EDUCATION:

  • High school diploma or GED required, higher or continuing education a plus.
  • Medical Assistant
