Scudder Roofing & Scudder Solar are searching for a full-time, self-motivated Sales Support Specialist with at least 2+ years of construction and sales project support experience. The ideal candidate for this position is a patient and organized multi-tasker with the skillset to handle a variety of administrative and clerical challenges supporting our busy sales team. The candidate must be a resourceful problem-solver at heart, ready and willing to lend a hand with a ”get it done” attitude. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines are key requirements for this supportive position.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Customer intake of new roofing and solar leads, including gathering accurate customer data and entering the data and leads into our Scoop CRM program.
• Scheduling appointments for new roofing and solar leads.
• Reviewing new, sold jobs in Scoop CRM for accuracy prior to production hand off.
• Providing the entire sales team with weekly and monthly status updates on leads, measure calls, and sales calls.
• Assisting the sales team with weekly and monthly tracking of sales data.
• Responsible for sales department document management, including customer correspondence, Adobe DocuSign, etc.
• Supporting the sales team with Scoop CRM programs relating to lead/job entry as well as monitoring and tracking pertinent lead and sales data.
• Responsible for consistently and systematically updating material pricing in roofing and solar estimating databases.
• Supporting the sales team with financed projects.
• Attending weekly sales meetings.
• Scheduling meetings and appointments for all sales team members.
• Assisting the sales team with drafting presentations for large sales calls.

Other Responsibilities:

• Will establish and maintain effective channels of communication with the owners, co-workers, contractors, clients, affiliates, vendors, and all other business contacts.
• Will use equipment and materials in a safe and acceptable manner and follow established safety procedures using the appropriate . Will also observes common sense rules of safety in all on-the-job activities.
• Will conduct yourself in a manner reflecting credit on the Scudder companies and encourage others to do the same.
• May perform other related duties as required and/or assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university or two or more years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid CA Driver’s License
• Computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Pro, Adobe Sign, DocuSign, Scoop CRM, Sage 100, Google Workspace products, and other programs and applications as necessary.
• Strong work ethic and core values.
• Excellent customer communication skills and interpersonal skills in order to work efficiently within a team while having the ability to complete tasks and make decisions independently.
• Computer literacy
• Excellent time management and organization skills
• The ability to forecast and plan.
• The ability to problem solve and use critical thinking to identify and resolve issues.
