The Content Strategist is in charge of planning, creating, managing, and improving content projects that help the company reach its goals, keep its brand consistent, and get people interested. This job is in charge of the content strategy for all digital platforms and makes sure it fits with marketing goals, user experience standards, and data-driven insights. In a remote work setting, the Content Strategist works with teams from different departments to make sure that content is of high quality, consistent, and useful.
Main Duties:
Create and keep up with complete content strategies that support business and marketing goals.
Plan and keep track of content calendars for many channels and platforms
Set rules for tone, messaging, content standards, and governance.
Work with the product, marketing, design, SEO, and communications teams.
Look at how well your content is doing and use that information to improve engagement and conversion.
Do research on your audience and your competitors to help you decide what to write about.
Manage the processes for making content, editing it, and checking its quality.
Make sure that your brand is consistent and that you follow all laws and rules.
Oversee content audits, updates, and lifecycle optimization
Based on performance metrics, write reports and suggestions for leaders.
Necessary Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in a field related to marketing, communications, journalism, English, or something else
At least 4 to 7 years of experience in digital marketing, content strategy, or managing an editorial team
Proven experience making content plans for digital platforms
A good grasp of SEO, content analytics, and the basics of user experience
Great skills in writing, editing, and talking to people
Good at managing projects and keeping things organized
Ability to work alone in a remote setting
Good at using Microsoft Office or similar programs, content management systems (CMS), and analytics tools
Preferred Skills:
Experience in the technology, healthcare, SaaS, or B2B sectors
Knowledge of tools for automating marketing and optimizing content
Experience leading content projects that involve people from different departments
Advanced knowledge of analytics tools like Google Analytics
Pay for the Year:
Salary Range: $75,000 to $115,000 a year, depending on where you live, your experience, and your qualifications.
