Cognizant is looking for a technical writer to take ownership of customer-facing documentation for our varied customers Location - Remote (Must be in the U.S) _Please note- This role is not able to offer visa transfer or sponsorship now or in the future_ Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $95,000/Year to $115,000/Year depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans. Cognizant reserves the right to modify this information at any time, subject to applicable law. **Responsibilities** Write publish and maintain customer facing documentation including references tutorials online content and in-app guides focusing on advanced cybersecurity concepts. Collaborate with Product Engineering and Marketing stakeholders to define and deliver documentation requirements to meet customer needs. 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in technical writing with a proven track record of creating clear concise and technically accurate documentation in SaaS enterprise security or computer networking. Strong communication skills including the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and collaborate across teams. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and succeed in an ambiguous environment with competing demands. Ability to work remotely and independently taking full ownership of documentation projects. Qualifications: BA/BS degree in English Journalism or Computer Science. Experience documenting APIs. Experience documenting computer security applications. Proficiency in XML based documentation authoring systems Markdown and other technical writing tools. Experience with graphic design tools like Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Comfortable using UNIX CLI. Cognizant is an equal opportunity employer.
