This position requires a deep understanding of cost accounting practices, particularly within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and evaluate manufacturing costs to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.

• Develop and maintain standard cost models to ensure accurate financial reporting.

• Prepare detailed cost analysis reports to support strategic decision-making.

• Monitor inventory valuation and ensure proper cost allocation.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance cost accuracy and efficiency.

• Assist in monthly and yearly financial closing processes.

• Investigate variances and discrepancies in cost data to ensure reliability.

• Support budgeting and forecasting activities with cost-related insights.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations related to cost accounting.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably within a manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency in standard cost accounting practices and cost analysis.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Familiarity with inventory valuation and cost allocation methods.
• Advanced knowledge of accounting software and tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial reporting.
