Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Data Analyst (80%); analyze financial data related to asset management, including performance metrics, market trends, and investment strategies
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide insights for investment decisions
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across various data sources
- Identify and quantify risks associated with assets and portfolios
- Work closely with portfolio managers and analysts to support data-driven decision-making
- Create detailed documentation of data analysis processes, methodologies, and findings to ensure transparency and reproducibility
- Scrum Master (20%); lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to ensure Agile practices are followed & has strong knowledge of Jira
- Assist the team in clearing obstacles and provide guidance on Scrum principles
- Serve as a liaison between the development team and stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding and communication of project goals and progress
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of Scrum processes, team decisions, sprint goals, and progress to ensure clarity and accountability;
- Created release notes and associated documentation in collaboration with other team members.
- Provide insightful optimization recommendations and insights
- Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold the firm's respectful and courteous work environment
Qualifications:
- Experienced Technical Data Analyst (Agile/Jira Knowledge a plus)
- PST time zone (resource can be remote/hybrid - travel on an as needed basis)
- Financial services experience preferred: specifically, asset management
- Local to Irvine, CA, to work w/the client 3-4 days/week is preferred
