Job Title: Production Manager

Position Overview

As an integral member of the Operations Team, the client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented  Production Manager to oversee food manufacturing processes. This individual will manage daily operations on the production floor, ensuring production meets the company’s health, sanitation, and quality standards, as well as those required by regulatory authorities. The role demands strong leadership, team motivation, and a data-driven approach to drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement.

• Management Responsibility: Full oversight of production team and operations

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities including scheduling, staffing, and workflow efficiency.
• Ensure all products comply with quality standards and regulatory requirements via regular inspections and SOP adherence.
• Coordinate with inventory to manage stock levels and minimize waste; track and monitor all waste for improvement.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations.
• Supervise and motivate production team members, providing coaching, training, and development.
• Ensure accuracy of daily production data for final reporting to senior leadership.
• Conduct weekly production planning, including raw ingredients and packaging material needs.
• Identify and implement process improvements, cost reductions, and quality enhancements.
• Uphold company policies and procedures across all aspects of production.
• Prepare and present reports on output, downtime, and quality metrics to senior management.
• Foster and promote the client’s Core Values: People, Quality, and Growth.
• Train employees on GMPs and ensure adherence to all SOPs.
• Become proficient in operating facility machinery and tools.
• Collaborate with all departments to achieve overall company goals.

Key Qualifications and Successful Factors

• Leadership experience in a food processing facility with USDA footprint or high-volume restaurant kitchen.
• Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial setting alongside founders and executive leadership.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities while fostering a positive team environment.
• Results-driven with strong decision-making abilities.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Spanish-speaking skills are a plus, but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
