Job Description
We are a family-owned business with several e-commerce sites looking to create additional capability for a wide range of development and maintenance activities. This position starts as part-time, but depending on the candidate's needs could grow into full-time if they desire of time.
This position would report to our technical director based in Florida. This position is remote, but must be within the United States. We want someone who wants to become intimate with our various site architectures and can provide extra horsepower and expertise to our continuing growth. Key Responsibilities:· Perform maintenance tasks on existing websites over multiple platforms
· Debug Javascript issues and other issues impacting site performance
· Perform mobile and SEO optimization tasks on an ongoing basis
· Troubleshoot webhooks and api calls as needed
· Collaborate with development team on new feature requests, bugs, and new development projects
· Availability during business hours (9AM-5PM CST)
· Opportunity to move into full time position in the future
Qualifications:
· Proven experience as a Front-End Developer with COTS content management and ecommerce solutions
· Strong proficiency in CSS, HTML, JavaScript including HTML5 and CSS3
· Excellent problem solving and communication skills
· Understanding of web accessibility standards
· Experience in Agile development
· Experience with Webflow, Shopify, Airtable, Make, Zapier, or Foxycart all desirable, but not required.
