The General Manager is responsible for operations, profitability, performance results, and customer satisfaction throughout the dealership.Hire, train and mentor department managers. Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills. Assesses the operations of all dealership departments Works with department managers to improve operations, performance, and profitability Maintains CSI at or above company standards Oversees hiring and discipline decisions Oversees pricing and inventory policies are followed Maintains good working relationship with manufacturers and lending institutions Reinforces company policies and adheres to company standards and process.
