Location : PLEASE NOTE: THIS POSITION IS LOCATED ON-SITE IN WILKINSBURG, PA. THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION!
Schedule : Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm
Summary of Job Duties : At Community LIFE, our Medical Records position is called Health Information Specialist. The Health Information Specialist provides the technical, organizational and clerical skills necessary to efficiently and effectively maintain participant medical record documentation in accordance with state and federal licensing requirements, ensuring confidentiality of all participant medical information.
Required Education: High School graduate or equivalent with medical records/health information training preferred.
Required Experience: Minimum of 2 – 3 years of medical records or clerical health care office experience. Document Imaging/Scanning experience is preferred.
