Additional Compensation Details:  

• $18.75 - $20.00 per hour Dependent on Experience.
• Performance based increase after introductory period, typically 90 days
• Year around work available

Schedule

Mon. - Fri. (some Saturdays) A.M. shift starting 8:00am

The Role

The order builder position is responsible for picking and palletizing customer orders. This position requires working in a refrigerated warehouse average 34 degrees.

Essential duties, but not limited to:

• Pick produce orders and stack on a pallet per customer order
• Stage completed pallets and complete all related paperwork
• Work in a team to get additional projects completed
• Maintain a clean and professional workplace - clean up as you go - corner boards, pallet ties, etc.
• Follow all safety, food safety and facility procedures
• Perform quality checks on products during picking process to ensure proper condition and freshness
• Monitor and report inventory discrepancies to supervisor
• Conduct regular inspections of electric pallet jack and report maintenance needs
• Maintain accurate order fulfillment records and meet daily productivity goals
• Assist in training new team members on proper picking and safety procedures
• Participate in cycle counts and inventory audits as needed

Required Skills and Experience

• Lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs occasionally - up to 6 hours per day
• Work in a refrigerated environment, average temperature 34 degrees
• Ability to communicate with team and supervisors
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to follow written or verbal instructions
• Ability to understand and follow all safety rules, procedure manuals, and diagrams
• Previous experience operating an electric pallet and forklift
• Bilingual Spanish and English
• Food safety knowledge and understanding of proper handling procedures
• Physical stamina to work in cold environment for extended periods
• Basic math skills for inventory counting and order processing
• Minimum of 1 year experience in warehouse or similar environment
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Flexibility to work occasional weekends as needed
• Valid forklift certification preferred
• Attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
