The San Francisco office of SmithGroup is looking for a Landscape Architecture Intern to join our team.

Working with us, you will:

1. Work on integrated design teams with architecture, engineering, planning, and surveying.
2. Participate in the preparation of concepts, design development, and graphic illustrations.
3. Edit technical specifications.
4. Compile data and prepare design solutions.
5. Receive mentorship from experienced design professionals.
6. Visit construction sites and/or completed project sites.

An ideal candidate has:

1. Completed at least their sophomore year or have graduate standing in an accredited landscape architecture program by the time of the internship.
2. Some experience with AutoCAD, ArcGIS, SketchUp, Lumion, Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, and the Microsoft Office Suite.

SmithGroup promotes a healthy work/life balance for our staff, as well as hybrid work options that give interns the flexibility to work within our vibrant office culture or remotely, as needed. The anticipated hourly rate for this position is $20.67 to $22.60 per hour, at the time of posting. You are eligible to receive overtime pay for hours worked beyond 40 in a work week.
