The Tree Care Assistant will start their day at Pope Farm Nursery but work will work will primarily be at various Parks across Montgomery County. What the job will involve:
Works as part of a team performing general landscaping in various Parks across Montgomery County.
General landscaping duties include tree watering mulching pruning weed removal tree harvesting and planting.
Responsible for installation and maintenance of landscape beds.
Operates landscape maintenance equipment such as: mowers string-trimmers and various other hand-tools.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to communicate in another language a plus!
Valid drivers license in accordance with both State and Commission rules and regulations. Drivers licenses must be unencumbered by restrictions revocations suspensions or points that could limit the employees ability to drive Commission vehicles or perform driving duties required of the position
May be subject to medical drug and alcohol testing.
