SEO Manager Firm Overview We are a nationally recognized plaintiff’s trial law firm, founded in 2005, located in Houston’s Heights area. Occupying nearly 20,000 square feet, our growing firm is known for securing results through passion and tenacity. Our attorneys are frequent speakers at legal conferences, have earned accolades for their service, and have handled high-profile cases featured in national media and law school curricula. We specialize in wrongful death, catastrophic injury, truck and car accidents, workplace injuries, product liability, and other tort cases. Our high-energy environment is driven by passionate advocates who prepare every case for trial from day one, handling numerous trials across Texas annually. Role Overview Lead firm-wide SEO strategy and execution to drive organic visibility, traffic, conversions, and signed cases through technical excellence, content optimization, authority building, local presence, and AI discoverability. Core Responsibilities Develop and own firm-wide SEO strategy, quarterly/annual roadmaps, and KPIs Lead keyword research, topic clustering, and strategic content direction Collaborate with Content Director to optimize all content for SEO, user intent, E-E-A-T, and AI visibility Oversee technical SEO: audits, Core Web Vitals, crawlability, schema, site speed, migrations Build scalable link-building and digital PR programs; manage backlink profile Own SEO analytics (GA4, GSC, Ahrefs/SEMrush), attribution to leads/cases, and executive reporting Manage local SEO, Google Business Profiles, map pack rankings, and review velocity Implement strategies for AI Overviews, featured snippets, and entity optimization Stay ahead of algorithm/AI trends; test new tools and processes Key Outcomes YoY growth in organic traffic, visibility, conversions, and qualified leads 95%+ pages passing Core Web Vitals; zero critical technical issues Top 3 local pack rankings for priority keywords Increased domain authority via high-quality backlinks Stronger presence in AI Overviews and featured snippets Clear, actionable monthly/quarterly executive reporting Qualifications 5+ years progressive SEO experience Proven organic growth results in competitive industries Expert-level knowledge of technical SEO, content optimization, local SEO, link building, and AI/search trends Proficiency with GA4, GSC, Ahrefs/SEMrush, Screaming Frog Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills Compensation and Benefits Comprehensive benefits package including: Health, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance 401(k) with company matching Paid time off (after 90-day evaluation period) Parental leave Professional development assistance Performance bonuses Amaro Law Firm is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
