Position Summary
The Lead is responsible for management of the technical challenges involved in launching a new cell and/or changing the layout of an existing cell for improved ergonomics, efficiency, safety, etc. This person will assist the Manager and/or Supervisor in that area and will assign work to other employees when necessary, and work with Engineering team to resolve technical issues on the floor. They will also be responsible for documenting daily numbers such as status of every instrument, Process orders consumed, and units closed. Reasonable, reliable attendance and punctuality is an essential job function required for this position.
Primary Duties
Qualification and Experience
This role requires High School Diploma, GED or equivalent and 5+ years technical experience with medical instruments as well as experience leading individuals and/or teams.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Working Conditions
Ability to remain in stationary position, often standing, for prolonged periods.
Ability to adjust or move objects up to 50 pounds in all directions.
Domestic travel required __5__ % of time
International travel required _5___ % of time
The estimated salary range for this role is between $25.00 and $35.00. This role is eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and individual performance per bioMerieux’s bonus program. This range may differ from ranges offered for similar positions elsewhere in the country given differences in cost of living. Actual compensation within this range is determined based on the successful candidate’s experience and will be presented in writing at the time of the offer.
