Description Security Event Staff-Game Day
STARTING PAY is $17.00 per hour!!
MANDATORY DIRECT DEPOSIT As a part of the FC Dallas and Toyota Stadium team, you will work solely when we have events, which consists mostly of evenings and weekends. The security event staff are responsible for ensuring a safe and fun atmosphere during all events at Toyota Stadium and the Soccer Center.
This opportunity is to work on an as-needed basis during events held at the stadium. This is a great way to supplement your income while working around fun and exciting events such as Major League Soccer games, international soccer games, college football games. concerts and other events.
Responsibilities
- Must be committed to work games and events remaining of the season.
- Bag checking at each gate leading into stadium to ensure no prohibited items enter the stadium.
- Provide concourse security on inside perimeter of stadium by monitoring and patrolling activity.
- Provide outside perimeter security around the facility.
- Checking credentials and tickets to ensure that only authorized personnel enter specific areas of the stadium and complex.
- Provide field security for players and officials by monitoring activity on and around stadium field(s) and in the locker rooms.
- As a team, provide all access control in and around Toyota Stadium and soccer center.
- Cooperate with local public safety agencies during emergency situations.
- Monitor traffic control measures to ensure safety and maintain controlled access
- Any other tasks as assigned from time to time by any manager or supervisor.
Requirements
- Experienced in resolving complicated customer service issues with fans and defuse heated situations that may arise.
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to act as authority figure when needed.
- Professional and capable of representing the club in ethical manners.
- Required to work long hours and a flexible schedule, including but not limited to days, nights, mornings, weekends, and holidays in all weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Strong communication skills and bilingual (Spanish) skills a plus.
- Previous experience in stadium or entertainment/event services preferred.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time in outdoor weather conditions to include extreme cold or heat.
