Volunteer Music Instructor to teach Beginning Voice for group class at Braille Institute. Who: Braille Institute is committed to eliminating blindness and severe sight loss as barriers to a fulfilling life. Braille's educational, social, and recreational programs are provided in an environment of hope and encouragement, seeking to reinforce the confidence, self-esteem, and dignity of those who are visually impaired and enabling them to live, attend school, and work as they choose. What to Expect: Guide students through lessons Teach range of vocal techniques and exercises Teach a variety of warm-up exercises Assist with lesson planning if needed What's Required: Ideal candidate will be energetic, excited about teaching music, and have a passion for sharing with others Available at least 1 day (M-Th), 10am-12pm or 1-3 pm for onsite class (classes are two times per day, once a week) No experience with the blind and vision community is necessary Comfortable working with singers of different ages and skill levels Ability to communicate professionally Create a safe and supportive learning environment for students Have Questions or Need Accommodation?
