LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking to fill an Accounts Payable Manager job opportunity for this East Bay company located in San Ramon, CA. This position is 100 percent in-office! The right candidate should have at least 5 years of in-depth experience as an Accounts Payable Manager and be comfortable managing a small AP staff of three. The candidate will report to the Accounting Manager. The AP Manager will be responsible for managing the entire AP process, researching, and analyzing accounts, assisting with the annual close processes, reconcile accounts, and prepare financial statements, and continue to mentor and develop the staff.

Responsibilities include:
- Oversee Accounts Payable function for the company
- Assist with the month, quarter, and year-end close processes
- Analyze financial statements in support of the reporting requirements
- Prepare entries to the General Ledger and complete reconciliations
- Assist with the annual audit and tax schedules
- Develop and implement efficient ways to better the AP department
- Assist the Accounting and Finance department on projects as assigned

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred
- Direct management/supervision experience with at least 3 employees’
- Software experience with Sage Intacct and Concur would be nice tohave
- Industry experience in Mortgage or Real Estate would be a plus
- Attention to detail, problem-solver, analytical, multi-tasker, and strong time management skills
- Excellent communications (written & verbal)
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word & Excel - Advanced)
