About the Role
The Company is seeking a Managing Attorney for its Family Law practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the family law team, supervising attorneys and staff, and overseeing case strategies from intake to resolution, with a focus on complex divorce, custody, and support cases. This role involves representing clients in various legal proceedings, ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction, and implementing office policies, procedures, and financial management. The ideal candidate should have a Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school, be an active member in good standing of the Maryland Bar, and have a minimum of 8 years of family law experience, including 2 years in a managerial role. Applicants for the Managing Attorney position at the company should be strategic thinkers with the ability to manage a high caseload efficiently. Strong litigation and courtroom experience, excellent client communication, and relationship management skills are essential. The role also requires proficiency in legal research and case management software.
