Ryan & Associates, in-house counsel for State Farm Insurance Companies, is seeking a paralegal to join our BI/UM team. Candidates must have knowledge of Insurance Defense Discovery procedures and litigation procedures, as well as local court rules. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, strong software/technological skills, and experience working in a paperless fast pace environment where all work is time sensitive are required for this role. Qualified candidates must be reliable, dedicated, and team-oriented with a professional appearance and demeanor. Located in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, we enjoy an active, busy civil trial practice. Qualifications Prior litigation or paralegal experience, paralegal degree/certificate/certification, medical training, or relevant coursework or legal studies degree is required 3+ years of paralegal Discovery and trial experience; preferably in Insurance Defense. Plaintiff's personal injury experience will be considered.
